When the load is large: sharpness (input to the transducer) is large When the load is small: sharpness (input to the transducer) is small An ultrasonic cutter is a tool that cuts while vibrating. When cutting, frictional heat is always generated by the vibration of the object being cut and the blade. Reflecting the voices of users who want to reduce melting caused by this frictional heat, the best driving method currently conceivable (internal name: TAF circuit) has been adopted for the ZO-41, and it is also adopted for the ZO-41II. (※The driving method is know-how and is not disclosed.) ■Do I not need to keep pressing the button? Do I want it to work only when I press it? The ZO-41 was released as an upgraded version of the ZO-40, and in response to user feedback that pressing the button makes it difficult to work, workability was prioritized. A new operation method has been introduced that allows the tool to operate for 10 minutes after pressing the button once. (Press it again to stop it. When the vibrator temperature becomes high, the handpiece switch stops flashing.) However, for safety reasons, some users have said that they would like the tool to operate only while the button is pressed, as with the USW-334 and ZO-40, so the ZO-41II allows the user to select this when turning the power on. (To monitor the temperature, the button is set to turn off if pressed continuously for 3 minutes.) ■ Equipped with a temperature sensor to protect the vibrator With the high power mode, the maximum power is applied to the vibrator when it is at its maximum in a hobby ultrasonic cutter. In anticipation of the vibrator being thermally damaged by frictional heat from various cutting objects and heat from the vibrations themselves, a protection sensor has been installed to stop the tool when the temperature inside the handpiece rises. With the new operation method of the ZO-41II, the temperature cannot be monitored if the handpiece switch is held down, so the time the switch must be held down has been limited to a maximum of 3 minutes. ■Variable power Equipped with two modes. Equipped with a normal mode for everyday use and a high power mode for when you really need it. In high power mode, the blade will overheat in about 5 minutes, depending on the material being cut. *There is no change in sharpness from the previous ZO-41.
